1. Offline Image Processing & Privacy
Your photos never leave your device.
WebP Studio is engineered to work completely on-device. When you select an image to convert, compress, or edit, all operations happen entirely inside your phone's local memory.
- We do not upload your images to any remote server, website, or cloud storage.
- We cannot see, access, or share your private photos.
- Your converted WebP images are saved directly into your phone's gallery and storage.
2. In-App Purchases & Payment Security
WebP Studio offers an optional one-time purchase (Lifetime PRO Upgrade) to remove ads and unlock advanced tools. All payments are processed directly by Google Play Billing (Google LLC).
Zero Payment Access:
We do not collect or store any sensitive payment details like your credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, bank accounts, or UPI pins. Everything is entered securely on Google's encrypted checkout screen.

Google handles the payment method and billing details according to its strict security standards. WebP Studio only receives a secure verification code from Google Play to confirm that you own the PRO license, allowing us to unlock the features on your device.

WebP Studio does not require you to sign up or create an account. To keep the free version available, ensure app performance, and prevent crashes, we use official Google developer tools:
Advertising ID: Google AdMob may use your phone's resettiable Advertising Identifier to prevent showing you the same ad repeatedly and to deliver ads based on your privacy choices.
4. Privacy Choices & Regulations
4.1 European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before ads are served:
- Managing Your Choice: You can change, review, or withdraw your consent choice at any time directly inside the app by going to Settings > Ad Privacy Settings.
- Choosing Not to Consent: If you select 'Do not consent', the app continues to work normally and will only display limited, non-personalized ads.
4.2 US State Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
- We do not sell your personal information.
- You can manage or opt out of personalized ad tracking through your phone's system settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
5. App & Device Permissions
To perform its core features, WebP Studio asks only for the permissions it truly needs. Here is why each permission is used:
- Photos & Storage Access: Required strictly so you can browse your phone, pick photos for conversion, and allow the app to save the converted WebP images into your gallery. We never read or touch any other files.
- Internet & Network Connection: Used to check your PRO purchase status with Google Play, receive basic app updates, and display ads to free users. Your personal photos are never uploaded over the internet.
- Advertising Identification: Used securely by Google AdMob on supported Android devices to serve ads according to your chosen privacy preferences.
- Google Play Billing Access: Used exclusively to open Google Play's official checkout window when you decide to buy the PRO upgrade.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Because WebP Studio has no user accounts, we do not store your data on external databases:
- Image Files: Temporarily processed in phone RAM during conversion and cleared immediately after. No copies are kept by us.
- Support Emails: If you email us for help, we keep your message only as long as needed to solve your issue.

7. Children's Privacy
WebP Studio is a general utility app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no accounts are created, no personal details are gathered or stored.
