1. Image Processing & Local Data
Your photos remain yours.
WebP Studio is designed to prioritize your privacy. All image compression, conversion, and editing happen locally on your device.
- We do not upload your images to any cloud server.
- We do not view, store, or share your personal files.
- The converted files are saved directly to your device's internal storage.
2. Information Collection
2.1 Personal Data (Voluntary Only)
We do not automatically collect any personal data such as your name, phone number, or address.
Contact Information: If you choose to contact us for support or feedback via email, you provide your email address and message voluntarily. We use this information solely to respond to your query.
2.2 Non-Personal Data (Third-Party Services)
While image processing is offline, the app uses an internet connection for Advertising, Analytics, and Configuration. We use the following third-party services which may collect data (like Device IDs, crash logs, and usage data):
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob collects data to show relevant ads and measure ad performance.
- Google Firebase Analytics: Used to analyze how the app is used (e.g., number of users, session duration, crash reports) to help us improve stability and performance.
- Google Firebase (Remote Config): Used to manage app features remotely.
- Google Play Services: Used for core Android functionality.

3. App Permissions
To function correctly, WebP Studio requires specific permissions:
- Storage / Photos & Media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to load images for conversion and to save the converted WebP files back to your gallery.
- Internet Access: Required by Google AdMob (for ads) and Firebase (for analytics and configuration). The app does not use the internet to transfer your personal images.
4. Data Safety
We do not collect any personal data ourselves. The data collected by third-party services (AdMob/Firebase) is used strictly for:
- Displaying Ads
- App Functionality & Analytics (Crash reporting/Performance)
5. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
Since our app processes images locally and we do not maintain a user database, we do not store personal information of children. However, if a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has voluntarily provided us with personal information (e.g., via support email), please contact us, and we will delete such information immediately.
